Christmas Trees

Happy Saturday!
We went and cut down our tree last night, so I will be spending the day decorating. This is WAY early for us, as we normally don't get our tree until 2 weeks before Christmas, but the weather has been treacherous so we are trying to get a head start.

These are just some simple cards that I made and sold as boxed sets for the fundraiser at my children's school last month. I ended up making 104 cards (not all this designs) and sold all but one box of 6! The school was happy, because of course they received the money, and being a very small private school, they need all the help they can get.

All supplies PTI, except black ink which is Ranger Archival, of course! (Won't use anything else!)

Thanks for stopping by today, have a good one!

A Rising Star

So did you get a chance to purchase your new PCD stamps last night? I'm sure there are still some left this morning if you didn't. *wink*

I made this card using both Look Up! and Look Up! Additions, and had so much fun coloring those hot air balloons. Isn't that sentiment the best? I love, love, love the perfect sayings in the new set. They are so appropriate!

Unlike genius Amy, I hand cut my curved banners (WHY?!?!?!), but you can bet your patooty that I will use the scalloped border die from PTI in the future! I'm a fast learner, I am!

Be sure to stop by Courtney, Karen, Paulina, Amy, Valerie, and Vanessa's blogs to see more yummy samples using these fun stamps!

Thanks for stopping by today friends, have a good Friday!

Nature's Wonder Sneak Peek

No tricks today, I promise! *smile*

Just a straightforward peek at the other new set being released at midnight tonight by Practicing Creativity Designs
This is a much requested follow-up to Karen's highly popular Christmas Wonder set, and I have to say it is in my top 10 favorite stamp sets of all time!

I love the true, organic feel to the stem/grass images. They are so realistic and natural that I can't seem to stop using them. And that large open font? LOVE IT.

So what do you think? Pretty, isn't it?

Am I allowed to say that? *looks around in curious wonder*
Well, that's why we stampers do what we do, right? Because WE love it! *silly grin*

Be sure to check out all the other sneak peeks by the DT:

PCD December Sneak Peek

It's time for a peek at Practicing Creativity's newest release!
Isn't this card adorable? Hot air balloons, banner images, fun sentiments...

Wait...
you say these stamps aren't new?
Oh well, you're correct!
Mea Culpa...I posted the wrong card...

Here's the correct one!

Tee hee! Fooled you, didn't I?
So did you guess from all the hints yesterday that there would be a "sequel" to one of PCD's sets? Look Up! now has a Look Up! Additions!
Super fun new balloon images, an interactive rounded banner, and even more perfect sentiments!
( I love the sentiment here, "You always lift my spirits" and know that I will use it frequently.)

If you didn't get a chance, go "guess" on Court's blog today, her post went up late yesterday.

For lots more amazing samples, check out the DT blogs:
and our Guest Designers too:

And come back tomorrow for even more goodness with a different new set of peeks!
