Soft and sweet

Whew! We finally got a reprieve from the heat with a bit of light rain yesterday. Of course, that just made it muggier, but my garden needed the water anyway. So what's on your agenda today? I'm getting my hair trimmed (I'm a total slacker when it comes to those things, and usually only remember once a year).

Today's card is for Sasya's Sketches. I had a hard time with this one until I turned it on it's side!

But the rest of the DT did marvelous things with it, so apparently it was just me! *snort*
Hop on over to Sasya's Sketches and see for yourself. And if you are feeling creative, join us this week. We'd love to have you! Oh, and did you notice I did some more hand stitching? Yep, using PTI button twine on this one!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a good one!

What a GREAT take on the sketch. I would NEVER have come up with this card using that sketch. I love it. The embossing, the label panel, the small details of this card make it so cool for me. Great job, Dana.

I'm commenting on this one too. Soft, beautiful, and elegant card. Love this. Where in upstate NY are you? That's where I'm from and I want Wegmans!

Gorgeous, Dana! I love that you turned the sketch on it's side. Your stitching looks great too - fun way to change up that edge punch. (I'm assuming that's an edge punch anyway.)

Wow, another beauty! Your chalked embossed background is fabulous. I really like those brown leaf punches attached to the sides of the die cut sentiment!
