So I used only ONE stamp on this card...anyone know what it is?
It's the key on the left! It's from the Key to My Heart set by Practicing Creativity Designs, and I embossed it with a mixture of patina gold and copper e.p. and fussy cut it out including the center sections.
(I buy all my e.p. HERE if you are interested. Their detail e.p. is the best I've ever come across, and no, I don't get kickbacks! *snort*)
This card is for Sasya's Sketches. This week's sketch was HARD for me...I could not make up my mind what to create and then all of a sudden this idea popped into my head and the whole card took me about 20 minutes! I'm happy with it. I have a ton of those old keys in my "altered art" drawers from my altered art obsession days, and I was glad to use one!
Play along with us this week at Sasya's Sketches and see if this one is easy for you! And check out what the rest of the DT did...oh my goodness, some beautiful cards for sure. Those girls are tal-en-ted!
Maybe you can be the next guest designer!

Wow! That's a great card, Dana!
Now that truly is fussy-cutting!!! As I type this comment, my guy is on the sofa behind me and has literally just looked at my screen to say "that's a nice card, really rustic" Now believe me, that's a REAL compliment (he has good taste *wink)

i like what you did with the sketch. Clever.
i've always had a fondness for keys. i remember when i was very young i found or maybe my mom gave me a skeleton key. i thought it was the coolest thing ever, as if i had a real treasure on my hands!
Oh wow..I love it!! You did a great job with the sketch. I am too literal and I would have just put paper there where you have the keys. I'm going to do the sketch and probably will STILL put paper where your keys are..lol
LOVE your card! I wouldn't have guessed that key was a stamp - so cool! And I think we were on the same wavelength with Sasya's sketch - the key & lock thing...LOL.
