Tuesday Throwdown and some Gratitude

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite mainstream holiday.
I love the premise behind it.
Giving thanks for all the bounty of the harvest season, sharing that bounty with friends, family, and complete strangers, and being grateful for all you have.
I'm so grateful for the blessings in my life.

Join us for Tuesday Throwdown this week. The challenge is to make a Thanksgiving card! We are bring sponsored by Sweet and Sassy stamps and I chose this delightful digital image to work with. It's called Fall Arrangement.
Some of you know that coloring isn't my thing, but I honestly enjoyed this so much I colored two more just like it!  Submit your thanksgiving card to Tuesday Throwdown for a chance at a great prize from Sweet and Sassy Stamps!

This card also matches this week's sketch at 2S4Y by serendipitous chance! A very kind blog reader alerted me to it, thanks Kim!

Thanks for stopping by today,

beautiful card. I might have to actually dig deep into my stamps to see if I have anything for Thanksgiving so I can play along.

Dana.......This is soooooo pretty!!! I love your coloring and think you SHOULD do it more often because you are a natural!

I do have a "newbie" question for you. Is your greenish/yellow sponged background actually sponged or is that markers......If it is sponged, how did you do that around your image and the shampe of your die cut???
