No Sentiment shabby

Happy hump day!

A new challenge goes live today at Simply Scrapping Crafts

Now, I frequently make cards and leave the sentiment off, but for some reason, being forced into it was hard for me. It took me forever to figure out what I wanted to do! As an added bonus, I actually didn't use ANY stamps...and it was HARD! *chortle*

Deciding on some shabby goodness, this card came together rather quickly with a bunch of things I had lying around my studio.

Come join in the fun for a chance at an amazing prize package of assorted ribbons and trims from MAY ARTS! (I know that SSC is a bit confusing to navigate at at first, so if you have any questions, just let me know by email)

Thanks for stopping by,
*mwah*

Patterned paper: Webster's Pages
Cardstock: PTI rustic cream
Ruffled ribbon and lace: May Arts
Felt, button twine, buttons, and dies: PTI
Other: Nestibilities, crochet flowers from Etsy, Maya Road leaf pins, pearl, sewing machine.

Love it!! I think I'll play along. I'm not sure how good I am with no sentiments since they're my first love. :)

Your shabby card is wonderful! Love all the colors, patterns, textures. I wanted to check out SSC but it wouldn't let me read the challenge. I had to join, which I did. Does it usually take a long time to get a reply that you've been "accepted," or not? Sorry I couldn't email you direct. For some unknown reason, my computer won't allow me to email via outlook express. Even the "Geek Squad" couldn't figure it out!?! :)

Gabby, if you come back here to check, try emailing me at granolagirltoo at gmail dot com and I will help you with SSC! I can't email you back if I don't know your address!
