Hello everyone! I was feeling the need to use some of my vintage crafty supplies the other day and created this card for someone special (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! *smile*). I always enjoy inking and adding lots of embellishments so it felt good to fall back into a comfortable style.
My summer seems to be drifting away quickly, but I am trying to find something to be thankful for each and every day. Happiness really IS a choice:)
Patterned paper is Echo Park (Everyday Eclectic), cardstock is PTI as is sentiment stamp (Love Lives Here), flower stem die is by Memory Box (Hollyhock Stem), Lace, pearls and paper flowers all from Wild Orchid Crafts, the script paper was a scrap that was wrapped around the bundle of dyed seam binding I used to make a bow under the lavender paper rose and was purchased from a new defunct Etsy store.
Thanks for stopping by,
Namaste

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the colours and that die cut is so elegant.

Happiness is a choice, indeed. One of my friends just left the company and someone said something about the grass being greener, and she responded that the grass is greener where you water it. Same concept, I reckon. But you have a good attitude.
Anywho. Haven't seen a vintage card on a blog in a bit. And we all have the supplies. What happened to the vintage/seam binding craze? Where did it go? Bring it back. It's so pretty and girly and old-fashioned and warm. Pretty pretty....
GORGEOUS - love that color - WISH I knew how to tie double bows - it took me forever to make a perfect one, and now I can't do those double ones. lol.
very pretty card.
really pretty card - gorgeous and love the color. I wish I could tie a darn double bow but I just can't figure it out when I try . LOL
