I really like pink with kraft lately if you couldn't tell! *smile*
This is for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge this week to try spotlighting as a technique. Although I knew what spotlighting was I had never tried it. I sort of reversed my spotlight because I forgot what I was doing and just started coloring my cherry blossom branch! lol! When I realized what I had done, I decided to just make the spotlight B&W instead. I think it works!
If you want to give spotlighting a try, join us this week at Tuesday Throwdown for a chance to win a fabby prize.
Thanks for stopping by today, do something creative!

Beautiful! As others have noted, seeing the spotlight reversed with no coloring is very different and very nice.
This is way pretty Dana!
This is gorgeous, Dana! Love all the different elements!
Spotlighting?!?! I haven't done that in years and it is STILL as fabulous now as it was the first time I saw it. I love this, Dana. This is exactly the way a great spotlight looks. Lovely card..i'll have to use this technique more. It really does look perfect!

Hi Dana!! This is BEAUTIFUL! I'm having a Kraft love affair myself lately!!! Love the reverse spotlight!!!
Very pretty card tfs!!!
Dana! Stunning card and I love, love, love how you added the spot focal and kept it uncolored! Very dramatic. Love that bit of paper at the bottom as well. I don't know that I would have ever put those colors together and I just love how well they work. Now I am inspired to try, too!
Super cool, Dana! Usually you see the spot of color, I like how you have the spot of "un-color"! Clever!
I love it Dana! The reverse spotlight is genius!

Dana....I love how you spotlighted part of the image! I think what ties this card together so beautifully are those stitched buttons on the corner!!
Very Cool card Dana, The way you reversed the the spotlight works!!:) The oriental papers and the long card work so beautifully with the cheery blossom and I really like those buttons!!
