PTI Blog Hop

I'm still alive here, I promise! Doesn't life get insanely busy at this time of the year for everyone?

I made this card for the PTI Blog Hop. The challenge was to make a card for a winter holiday OTHER THAN Christmas, and to acknowledge all of the people who don't celebrate Christmas as the high holy day of the year.
What a lovely idea! My first thought was Eid, more specifically, Eid al-Adha, which is celebrated this year on November 17 by American Muslims, and is known as the Festival of Sacrifice.

All supplies are PTI except ribbon. I love using the shimmer CS that PTI carries, it really adds such a nice touch for festive occasions!

Thanks for stopping by, many hugs!

Wow! This is so amazing. I love the colors, and of course I am partial to eid cards because of our time in Morocco! Hugs from Denmark!

Oh GORGEOUS Dana, excellent use of the blue shimmer paper! I love the way you shaded around the stars with lighter ink...it looks just like an evening sky. BRILLIANT idea to use the alphabet stamp set to spell out Eid. Thanks so much for posting this, and for helping ME out today, HUGS!

I love it Dana, I really need to learn more about this Holiday! Of course, I see everything as a baby card, and it would work so well for that, too!!

Dana..Beautiful card. There is saying - "Eid Ka Chand" - Literally translated means Moon on the day of Eid and I feel like your card has captured it soo well. WOW..Amazing.

And how about adding some more images? I’m not trying to offend anyone, content is really great. Just according to the scientists people acquire information much more efficient if there are certain useful pictures.
