How has everyone's week been so far?
We've had some beautiful weather here in the northeast, but boy do we need rain *sigh*
Speaking of the heat... *chuckle*
This week's CAS-ual Friday challenge is Let's Strip! LOL
I used several different washi tapes from Freckled Fawn to create this card. After tearing them and laying them down willy nilly, I topped them with a sticker from Wordsworth (from my stash about 9 years ago!) and a giant button:) Seriously, this card took me about 6 minutes to make.
Come join us and show us how you interpret "Let's Strip" for the Clean & Simple challenge this week! Link up your project to the CAS-ual Friday blog for a chance at prizes :)
Thanks for stopping by,
XOXO

Shall I tell you about the guest the other day who went skinny dipping in the motel's pool in the middle of the afternoon, b/c that's what this challenge makes me think of. Fabulous card.
LOL...love Erin's comment:)
How fresh & fun is this?! Love how everything pops!
Dana -- I love it when willy nilly turns out so fabulously! You make 6 minutes look so good! :)
(I can't even clear a patch on my workspace in 6 minutes!!!) As always, love your take on the challenge! :)
I'm cracking up at Erin's comment :) Love, love, love all the mixed and matched patterns.
Girl, you CRACK me up! Wait, no "cracks" are showing, right...
Seriously though, I love this. I can never get willy-nilly to look good. The colors are wonderful and that button/twine element is so yummy! You rock :)
lol was ready to take off my clothes as it is so hot here today! ;)
LOVE your use of tape! such a pretty card :)
sorry i have been mia, playing catch up now that the cards for the heroes card drive are all made and sent off :)
6 minute card... yeahhh. So simple and lovely. Oh, guess what? - a black cat crossed my path 1st thing today - ha! It was cool.
Your tape is wonderful...love all the designs!! A sticker sentiment?!...how cool and love the font...it's perfect for your strips...sweet card, Dana:)!!
They are definitely desperate for rain here in Indiana, too. :( Hope it comes soon.
On a brighter note, your card rocks! That was a fabulously productive 6 minutes, girl. Loving the yellow card base!
Dana, this is awesomeness and attractiveness all wrapped into one card! I love it...everything about it! You rock!!! That is all.
We were at 108 this past week. I'd have stripped....but probably would have gotten arrested for indecent exposure. This would be a great look to mass produce and give a set of. I've tried the tape thing but I can't get the edges to look random and natural instead of forced. So I'll just enjoy your look here. So bright and fun.
Love the FUN bright cheerful colors! Cool card! ;o)
Love your card Dana, the yellow is so cool behind the washi tape.
This card is amazing! Love it thank you for sharing!
Fun and cherry, love it. Thanks for your sweet comments and visiting my blog. Hugs
Ah, this card is making me sorely tempted to go out and buy some washi tape. I still have yet to get a single roll. Girl, you are such a bad influence! ;)
Love this card to pieces.
This is just plain ol' FUN! Great colors ;)
Love the use of the strips! So fun! Yay for fun colors!
