Yes. That is my atrocious handwriting *blush*
But this was the second attempt to write on the "chalkboard" and the first one was worse because I used real chalk! LOL
Trust me when I say this one is far better:)
The new CAS-ual Friday challenge is all about school projects.
My kiddos go back next week, so school was fresh in my mind when I created it.
I have not even taken them school shopping yet, so I think I deserve a queen procrastinator award.
Their first day is TUESDAY!! *sigh*
The only stamp used here is the apple. I drew an eraser, cut it out, lined it partway with white gel ink and snipped a piece of white cardstock for the chalk.
We are sponsored this week by Pretty Paper Studio and they are offering a great prize!
So why not join in the fun at the CAS-ual Friday blog and show us your school-themed projects?!
Thanks for stopping by,
XOXO

Love the chalk board Dana...it looks so real!
FABULOUS back to school card! Love it!
Have a wonderful week-end, hugs, Karin
Dana, this is FABULOUS!!! So creative and so fun! Love your handwriting too ;)
Fantastic chalk board! I love the piece of chalk you cut out and the apple popped on the ledge.
While sitting in my son's 3rd grade class for Curriculum night, watching the presentation on the new Smart Board, I was thinking how they probably don't even know what a chalkboard is anymore. Sniff, sniff. Or what it's like to clean erasers after class! Ah well, the chalkboard is still a classic!
girl your handwriting is wonderful!!! *you don't even want to see mine! lol
super fun card :)
I think your handwriting looks fantastic! This is so clever and one-of-a-kind, especially the cute eraser and chalk embellishments. And I'm right there with you on the procrastinating! Ella starts school on Wednesday and we still need to get her a backpack!
genius.
Your card is so, so clever! It looks like a piece of store-made paper (like what I used, LOL)! Even your handwriting looks professional, so no blushing allowed!
(Or, as I would say, no blushing aloud!)
This is so cool! Love how you used the popsicle stick to hold the eraser on your chalkboard! ;o)
This is so cool!
Dana this is such a fun card. You picked the perfect chalkboard green!
