Thankful

Are you having a beautiful Sunday?
It started snowing again here yesterday so the 2-day warm spell did not last...*sigh*

I know I complain a lot about the weather here in upstate, western NY, but in reality I am grateful that I live someplace with four beautiful seasons. I just wish Winter wasn't 6+ months long!

I made this card with some sample patterned papers that my dear friend Bobbie sent me. I'm assuming they were SU because she is a demo, but I could be wrong.
The sentiment and house with trees stamps are Unity from their September 2010 KOTM (and it happens to be on sale right now!).
All CS is PTI as are ribbon, buttons, tag die, and twine. Lace is MM.

Thanks for stopping by today, hope the rest of your days is delightful!

Oh my goodness! This card is so darling! The love and warmth from your creation are jumping off my monitor. The tag is just awesome in all its whimsical fabulousness! I love the colors paired with the crochet trim and bow treatment. Gosh it is all so effective. I feel so thankful that Bobbie sent you these goodies as we get to enjoy your fabulous handiwork made from it. So please make sure to thank your friend Bobbie for me too. ;-)

What a sweet little card! Those houses are darling, and the aqua ribbon balances the clouds perfectly.

Sorry to hear you had snow! They are calling for it here, too, but at least it should melt quickly with the sun getting warmer again. I can imagine how long the winters must be for you, though. We were stranded once for 2 days in Dunkirk/Fredonia, right on the lake, due to white-out conditions during one of our road trips. I'm sure the long winter months can be brutal, which only makes spring all the more welcome!

Love the card and how sweet of your friend to send you some papers. Sorry to hear your warm up did not continue ours is still going on but we had rain last night and today so it is melting more and more of that white stuff outside. Don't stress too much Spring is finally here.
