Hi friends!
In an attempt to get a head start on my school-end thank yous I CASEd myself and created this card.
The original can be seen here, from last June. I changed things up a bit by adding more stitching and using the alpha impression plate and notebook border.
Red and green are hard colors for me to put together without it looking too holiday-ish, but Teacher's Apple is a great set and it works somehow!
I also want to remind you that our first CAS-ual Fridays challenge is coming up tomorrow! Are you excited to play along?
I think there is a contest happening at the Facebook fan page too so go check it out for a chance to win some prizes! And be sure to leave a comment saying that DANA sent you!
I hope you'll stop by tomorrow to see my first post with CAS-ual Fridays!

I really like this card. The colors DO look great together and I'm sure it will be well received.

Love love love this card Dana! It is just super fun and so well done!
Love the chalkboard look of your background, and the notebook border is a great addition! Definitely two sets on my wish list are Teacher's Apple and this alphabet.
Such a perfect teacher's card! I love the chalkboard look, and every other fabulous detail!
love it..even more than the original!! the stitiching is awesome!
I need those alpha stamps just to recreate your chalkboard effect!! Neat neat idea and a GREAT CASE of your own card! Congrats on the new DT gig....can't wait to see what you share!
Love it!! You are so good with these sets! Perfect, perfect teacher card!
I will def have to CASE this, too! I love how the background looks like a chalkboard! Pure genius!!
Love the chalkboard look!
I love the sentiment on the card!!
LURVE this one, Dana! I love how the white letters on black look exactly like a little chalkboard tucked back there! The Simply Chartreuse just makes everything else POP! Awesomeness.
Your colors are FINE! I agree, it IS hard to use red & green w/out thinkin' Christmas but this works great together. I LOVE the sentiment, too. Is that a stamp?
