My boys went back to school this week and it seems as if the planet has tilted and we've all been thrown for a loop.
Some crazy flooding weather here in upstate NY, the nuttiness of school-bus timetables, numerous school policy agreement forms to sign, our kitchen remodel...and I am so busy I can't seem to find time to breathe!
Oh, and did I mention our clothes dryer died last night? *sigh*
Anyway, it's FRIDAY and the weekend is almost here!
That means a new challenge at the CAS-ual Friday blog.
For this challenge we were to use paper-piecing on our fall-themed project.
Our sponsor is Scraperfect, and we also have a guest girl friday temp working with us this week, Stacy Rodriguez!
I used one of my all-time favorite stamps for this card. Wintry Owls by Memory Box, and paper pieced the circles that make up the tree. Sentiment and Hatch grid stamps are from Practicing Creativity.
I hope you'll join us with your paper-pieced fall themed card because as much as I don't want to admit it, fall weather is on its way here in Western NY.
Thanks for stopping by,
