Happy Birthday to ME!

Well, I turn the big 3-0 today. Does that mean I'm officially an adult now? *grin* I've always thought I wasn't quite an adult yet because I wasn't 30, but now...bummer. Time to officially grow up! *chuckle*

My husband made me breakfast this morning and bought me a ton of foot massage/pedicure/toe polish stuff and told me he was going to give me a "home made" pedicure! He's so sweet, and knows that is something I would LOVE. Although I'm a little trepidatious about him polishing my toes with a french pedicure set he bought. *wink* Maybe I'll post a photo of my toes when he's done...wait, posting pictures of my feet might cause me to lose my readers! HA hee heee. He also bought me a new light to install in my light box (that he built me years ago for my 23? birthday), so it will be brighter now!

I was playing around with my camera this morning while getting ready, and took a few goofy pics to document my milestone. Thought I'd share!

My hair hasn't been brushed (still wet from my shower) and I have no make-up on, but I like them anyway! Some ladies at work came into my office this morning, and told me they were trying to plan something for me and get me a cake. Isn't that awesome? One of them, my friend, even called my husband yesterday to find out what type of cake I liked! I feel so loved.

I'm making myself a cheesecake tonight when I get home. Even though it won't be ready to eat until it chills overnight, I will be digging in on Friday!

Anyway, here is the last of the Basic Grey 'fever' cards that I made. All in all, I used every paper from the blush collection but one. The sentiment on this one about describes how I'm feeling today! "kickin up my heels"

Stamp by TAC, colored with prismacolor pencils and oderless mineral spirits. I shaded the piggy with a grey pencil and sort of drew my own "ground" so she wasn't floating in mid-air. No need for the oval stamp that other's use, just make your own!

ETA: My friend and co-worker just came in to give me a ton of yummy fruit. She cut up fresh pineapple, watermelon, cantalope, and grapes, and then gave me a beautiful orange and a banana too! I know what I'm having for lunch today! yay.
