Happy Friday everyone! Being a work-outside-the-home mom I really, REALLY look forward to the weekends where I can catch-up on house-work, get some quality crafting time in, and spend more time with the children (who are in day-care all day). I also like to create elaborate meals on the weekends, as preparing food is a big hobby of mine. Thankfully, our children will eat anything and everything, including edemame beans, spinach, artichokes, beets, tofu, etc. They actually beg to have salad for dinner (and we don't use typical iceberg or romaine)!
Anyway,(...how did this conversation turn to food?) this card uses a stamp that I've had for 4 years or more. It's by inkadinkado, and I love it. It's one large square stamp that is perfect for coloring in.
This time I decided to leave large portions of each "block" white, for more contrast. I colored it with prismacolor pencils and gamsol and mounted it on pop-dots on a Bazzil CS base. I pierced holes around the entire square, and stamped the sentiment on top and bottom.

Oh, gosh! I love the colors! They look so brilliant against all the white. The sentiment is perfect, as just looking at the card makes you happy! Very cool!
Great colours! So funky!
Wow, this is fantastic, love your coloring. what a great stamp
i love this card - clean, crisp and bold!
My own son is a somewhat picky eater, but he also loves tofu (he thinks it's a treat, hehe), and sushi, and artichokes are like dessert to him. He begs me to make them, and he'll also eat salad usually, though he doesn't beg for it.
Love it!! Makes me think of the good ol' days-most of which were spent lying on your mom's living room floor listening to the best music EVER! Aaaahhh...youth...
Stunning!
Oh man, Dana! You're making me hungry! I love anything 'out of the ordinary' - but MY kids don't want anything to do with it! Now I'm definitely going to have to hang out with you sometime!
Another awesome creation!
