Short and sweet

My posts are short this week because my work schedule is keeping me very busy. If you like it when I ramble, stay tuned and I'll pick back up next week. *wink*

This card uses stamps from three different companies. The main image is from Fancy Pants, the BG on the top is from Inkadinkadoo, and the sentiment is from TAC. Ribbon from my stash, white and gold EP from Sparkle N Sprinkle, white eyelets from MM, Versamark ink.

Quick and simple. In order to emboss two colors on one image, I stamped it with Versamark, sprinkled white EP over it all, and then used a very tiny paintbrush to "remove" some areas of white EP. I then sprinkled gold EP onto those areas, tapped it off and heat embossed it all! Adding the white eyelets and some paper piercing finished it off. I LOVE this color of CS. It's called Sage Shadow from SU! and I think I need more of it. I only had 3 sheets from a variety pack and now I'm down to 1!

NEWS: Verve Visual's newest release is available for pre-order! If you pre-order it now the price is only $19.95! When it is actually released on the 20th, it will be $22.50, so check it out here to get your order in now! Even if you don't pre-order it, you should check it out here, because it is really something. So pretty, and quite versatile.

Very pretty! Nice calm colors, and "elegant" comes to mind. Nice sentiment, too! It amazes me that you know just what to put where and it all comes out beautiful. How many would think ahead to that whole embossing process! You're a genius!!

Very Elegant!! I really like how you embossed the two colors. I love that stamp from Fancy Pants, it looks like PP. Sage Shadow is one of my favorite SU colors. I just designed a card yesterday for my Christmas Card Club using Sage Shadow and Orchid Opulence. It's not a traditional color for Christmas, but I like the combo. BTW-LOVE the newest release from Verve Visuals!!

Wow! Very nice! I love the way the white embossed image (which happens to be a fav image) stands out against the SS CS! Thanks for the tip about embossing w/ 2 colors. I'll definitely be giving that a try! Also, thanks for visiting my blog!
