Blue leaves

Happy Saturday folks!
The idea for this card has been in my head for so long (more than a year, really) that I forgot what made me originally think of it. It might have been a sheet set from Crate & Barrel...this would make a pretty sheet pattern don't you think?

We're off to purchase some new kitchen cabinets today. It seems time to overhaul our archaic, antediluvian kitchen from the 1920s. No joke here. I've been living with a single porcelain sink, one base cabinet, and truly ancient pinkish-red, kitschy (read: asbestos) linoleum flooring for far too long!
I like retro and all but enough is enough! (our house was built in 1902 by the parent's of the 88 year-old lady we bought it from. We are only the second owners since it was built!)

Stamps used: Turning a new Leaf by PTI, and Words of Wisdom by Hero Arts

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a good one!

Sooo love this card! The colors are really cool! And I love your border!

Have so much fun with the kitchen! You won't know what to do with a new sink will you? (I say that because that is all I had at one time and had NO idea what to do with a normal sink! hehe!) You will have lots of fun! :)

Your card is gorgeous, I'm in love with the colors! That sentiment is too sweet too.

Good luck with the kitchen remodel, I'm dying to redo mine too. Don't forget to take pictures of the old kitchen so you can truly appreciate the new one! I'd love to see some before and after pictures too, if you'll share!

Dana, this is so gorgeous. I have been thinking of doing something similar but with different colors and different leaf. Might try it soon since I see that it turns out so nicely.
