It's time for another Sasya Sketch!

This week's sketch over at Sasya Sketches is so much fun. I like oval shapes on rectangles!
Because the DT has to submit work a week before, this card was made almost 2 weeks ago and I was tickled when I finished. Really it isn't my "style" at all, but I ended up liking it a lot!

As you can see, I inverted and flipped the sketch for my card.
Won't you join us for this round? The prize package is awesome! 700 Rubles (equal to about $23) to spend at an online scrapbooking store! Go see!

Thanks for stopping by today! Do something creative!

I'm not sure why you don't like it....it has your colors! :) Well, I like this a LOT and this looks to be a fun sketch to try!

I really like the colors you chose to use on this card. I still need to get that woodgrain background. It just looks so great on any type of card - masculine, feminine, baby..it's one of the most useful stamps out there...and i have yet to buy it...lol

I love it, Dana! I agree, it looks like a really fun sketch! I've printed it off, now to find time to do it ;-) I like the way you flipped it and used the buttons as an element. Fun!

I love the focal image and placement of the sentiment..... how it is off set. I need that PP ...... about 20 orders ago :) I like how the WG is on the scallop ....... I have to challenge myself to use that more!!!

Great interpretation of the sketch! Really like your colors here and all the different patterns...that work beautifully together!

You said this isn't your 'style', which, of course, got me curious, so after a little scrolling, I'm seeing LOTS of fantastic cards, all making for great inspiration...thanks! :>:>

Love this post! the woodgrain, the leaf image, the oval on the rectangle - amazing.

Love this! The leaves with the woodgrain gives it a very "homey", natural feel. Love how you offset the oval from the rectangle, also. :)
